Appshopper is a great way to browse iPhone apps by category. The interface is clean and easy to navigate. Next to the apps title you see tags that represent whether or not the app is new, updated or a price has changed. The RSS feeds are another convenient way of staying up to date on the latest apps. http://appshopper.com/

Just so you know, I have been looking for a site like this for a while. I found a couple, but they are not near as complete and up to date.
