I subscribe to a lot of RSS feeds. Some can wait for me to get home to read while others I want updates right away. I'm not always near my computer, although it sure feels like it.
SendmeRSS is great service that allows you add any rss feed you want to your account and you will get them in a clean and easy to read email.
Throughout the day I can stay on top of the latest news and community postings by emails sent to my phone.
They even have a Mobile option which I haven't tried yet SendmeRSS Mobile
If you have a blog you can add their widget to your blog site. Create an account, paste in your sites feed url and it will generate the html code to past into your site.
