We all have seen the many different lighter apps on the iTunes app store. I normally wouldn't even give these apps the time of day.
Then I read some of the user reviews on iTunes for the iLightr. I decided to fork out the $0.99 for it. Believe it or not, I'm having a lot of fun with it. Another app like the Koi Pond that you can show your friends and they can oooh and ahhhhh over it.
The ilightr makes good use of the iPhones accelerometer, good graphics and realistic sound effects that makes the whole experience that much more fun.
Once launched you can first double tap on the lighter and choose from a few different case colors if you want. From there you can also select if you want the intro video to play each time you launch it or not. I set mine to off.
You can open and close the lighter by either a finger slide or a flick of the wrist.
Ignite the lighter by sliding your finger across just like you would normally light a real lighter.
Once the flame is going, try swaying the iPhone around and watch the flame move and also react to touch. Be careful its hot. :)
